Our mission

Make science part of everyday life by running hands-on events, talks, and projects that help neighbors understand and use science.

We plan to achieve this through an interactive and collaborative science fair/symposium, a series of science talks, and other community-based events.

We intend on reaching a wide array of audiences, including those with little scientific background, individuals under-represented in the sciences, and those who simply want to learn more.

Who we are

Some of us are industry experts, academic experts, or a combination of both. We are driven by a desire to connect with people in a fun, informal and educational way. We are all volunteers with the purpose to serve the common good, using our expertise in the sciences and passion for public engagement.
